BYRRH / Vin Tonique

Founded in the 1860's by the brothers Simon and Pallade Violet in Thuir, France, BYRRH (a blend of red wines (from Roussillon) with quinquina (quinine) and then aged 3 years in oak vats) is one of France's best known apéritifs.

For more Byrrh signs take a look at Roadside Avertisements. This is a Belgian site (maintained by Bartolomeo Mecánico (a pseudonym?)) and absolutely one of the best for signs anywhere.
